Introduction
Universiti Teknologi Brunei offers an Odyssey Summer Programme to provide students an enriching educational and social experience through a mixture of Brunei’s rich array of cultural activities. We welcome local and international university students and relevant applicants. This programme comprises a blend of social and cultural contents such as exciting hands-on practical activities and outdoor adventures to explore Brunei’s diverse culture with a sense of global responsibility and appreciation.
Programme Overview
The Odyssey Summer Programme is designed to include educational elements where participants will be given project- and problem-based tasks that revolve on contemporary issues to come up with innovative solutions. To enhance diversity and cultural exchange, participants will be given opportunities to stay at different places offering diverse cultural identities. Participants of our cultural programme will experience some unique jungle to plate cuisines, handicraft workshops, tribal arts, music and customs. They will also find opportunities for hiking and nature walks around Brunei.
After the orientation programme at the university, excursions such as exploring Bandar Seri Begawan for a day before being transferred to Tutong to experience the Dusun and Kedayan cultures. Participants will return to Bandar Seri Begawan to experience the unique Bruneian celebration of His Majesty Sultan of Brunei 73rd Birthday. Participants will also get the chance to explore Temburong which offers the tranquility of the rainforest where team building and jungle activities await.

The objective of the programme is to expose participants through experiential learning and hands-on activities. At the end of the programme, participants are expected to develop their:

Who is eligible
Programme is open to:
- Local and international university students and relevant applicants.
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
Certificate
Certificate of Participation will be given to the participants at the end of the programme.

Payment Details
The fee is non-refundable and can be paid in either cash, cheque (payable to Universiti Teknologi Brunei), or through bank account transfer, upon submission of the registration form and documents.
